Aloka for organizations

Care for the journey. Keep the map independent.

Street-condition evidence for the people planning late shifts, welcoming new arrivals, and studying the walk between places.

Better context for the last part of a journey.

Duty of care
Help staff and students compare the walking part of a journey, with the coverage gaps visible alongside the evidence.
Hospitality & arrival
Give someone arriving in an unfamiliar city a way to inspect the streets around a place and the hour they expect to arrive.
Urban research & planning
Explore recorded lighting and activity, source provenance, and where additional ground-level observations would be useful.

Aloka provides context for decisions. It does not certify a route, replace an organization’s risk assessment, or predict an individual’s safety.

Evidence with its working notes attached.

API access, data licensing, and integration support start with a conversation about the data you need. The first coverage is central New Delhi. We agree the extent, update frequency, source licences, and service terms before an integration depends on them.

Street conditions
Hourly lighting and activity readings, with available community observations and explicit unknowns.
Confidence & provenance
Source names, import dates, contributor thresholds, and confidence alongside each reading.
Walking comparisons
Fastest and Lit alternatives within the available street graph, including time and evidence trade-offs.
Published geography
The actual imported extent. Coverage outside it is not inferred or sold as complete.

OpenStreetMap and Overture licences continue to apply to their source data. Community records remain subject to privacy and anonymity limits. A data agreement cannot remove either boundary.

Route order is never for sale.

The public Lightmap stays free. Commercial access supports the shared information layer; it does not create a privately improved score or buy priority in a walking route.

We do not sell personal movement histories, per-person contribution trails, or a way around the community anonymity threshold. Organizations cannot sponsor scores or suppress observations.
